Welcome to Miami.

Paying homage to my hometown with this woven bracelet I found at Genius Jones in Wynwood.

We're taking it slow, Miami and I, since my heart belongs to NYC. But we're reconnecting like old friends and I kind of like it. Just don't try to make it out with me. That'll be weird.

White Girls CAN Jump.

Here's a double dose of big hair and jumpsuits.

I love the way this aztec print jumpsuit fits on my frame. I like the ruffled strapless cut that shows off my collarbone. And I like how the legs on the suit go from the right amount of looseness to tailored at the ankles. This cut works really well with cute sandals, like these gold gladiator ones I picked out. If the legs were wider, I would have opted for a wedge or even a platform heel.

I belted it right at the waist to break up the pattern as to not cause dizziness.

And the Arm Candy keeps Getting Sweeter.

Every bracelet tells a story.

And just when I think I can't house a new addition on this very unevenly tanned arm, the bracelets part like the Red Sea and make room for one more of their kind - Like this circular zodiac gold stunner by Gorjana & Griffin. It's my sign- Aquarius.

What makes this bracelet extra special, is that it was a gift from my 'Best Friend Since 2000'. Like two silly boy band tweens, Javy and I have exchanged countless friendship bracelets, pendants, and fat jokes. And that's why I love him so much.

A Starry Affair!

Well, va va voom, Mrs. Buccio! I could not WAIT to wear this Kate Young for Target one shoulder gown. The ruffled bow on the shoulder is all sorts of amazing and just screams, "POW! In your face!" The black and white star print gives the gown a classic finish.

Let's talk hair because a dress like this needs an equally stellar updo and who better than Emiliano at Warren Tricomi at the W South Beach to create this hair-raising bouffant. It was the epitome of glam. I kept the makeup simple with a red lip and minimal eyeliner.

The snakeskin handbag is from a Vintage store in New Orleans. The art deco chandelier earrings are from J.Crew and a gift from Coco. The five inch heels are Guess. And thankfully, I still have all my toes (I think).

A Vintage Throwback in Coral Gables.

For our first holiday photo shoot back in Miami, I wanted to do something different and special by creating something that was chic for the whole family but also something timeless. I had my outfit and Maya's outfit all planned out (I have a fashion rolodex in my head) and given the location, a green and lush spot on an old Coral Gables corner, I knew it would be a home run.

Melissa Perez, from Simply Captivating, did an incredible job of capturing beautiful images of our family and I am so excited to share some of my favorite shots from the shoot. But first! Let's talk outfit.

I love lace details. And I love a lace dress. I found this short stunner for $10 at H&M. The black motorcycle boots gives the flirty lace a dash of street cred. I absolutely love the jeweled headband worn on my forehead. It gives off a 70's retro look that's very free spirited.

My flawless makeup was done by none other than Jessie from Makeup Artistry by Jessie.

Here are some of my favorite shots from the shoot. I feel so blessed and fortunate to have these two people by my side.

Welcome to the Jungle.

I'm feeling feisty in my latest obsession and frugalista find! I heard these leopard harem pants calling my name and for $12.99 at TJ Maxx, I came a runnin'! How could you not?! I love how they look with my Michael Jackson tank I found at the Fairfax Flea Market in Los Angeles. I topped it off with a studded jean vest, black leather sandals, and my Marc Jacobs crossbody, which is a weekend staple for me.

Leopard pants, believe it or not, are a wardrobe staple. Treat it like a neutral. It goes well with anything and it makes a statement. Think of them as you would a pair of jeans and your options are limitless.

Well, Style Me Pretty!

Early spring is a lovely time of year in the city. The cherry blossoms awake from their seasonal slumber and Central Park gets a burst of greenery and life on it's naked landscape. It also happens to be a perfect setting to take photographs. Just ask our NYC photographer, Lindsay Madden, who knew that this flowery backdrop was essential for our family photo session to celebrate Maya's first birthday. Coupled with our wardrobe, which consisted of pastels, stripes, and bright hues, Lindsay was able to capture some very whimsical images on a gorgeous spring day.

Now, I love dresses and I especially love to pair these feminine frocks with motorcycle boots. And as you make your way through this blog you'll notice I'm very faithful to my boots. My boots and I are one. I really do love adding a hint of toughness to something girly. It's usually how I see myself and it comes across in what I love to wear. So for this photo session, I paired a mint green maxi dress and a coral blazer from Forever 21 with my Steve Madden Troopa zip up motorcycle look. I have to tell you, cherry blossoms and motorcycle boots make a good team. Lindsay loved my look so much, she wanted to photograph each element of my outfit.

Well it also happened to catch the eye of one of my favorite blogs, Style Me Pretty. Our cherry blossom session with Lindsay was featured on their site! It's always a nice treat to be recognized for your sense of style and this was truly a collaborative effort! They even included a "how to get the look" section for each of our outfits. What a fun honor!

Check out the link on Style Me Pretty and keep strolling down to see some of the beautiful photos by Lindsay Madden photography!

Introducing...The Freshly Squeezed Fashionista!

Hello my fun, fearless fashionistas!

Many of you have been following my fresh and frugal fashion posts on Instagram and I can't thank you enough for it! I've decided it was about time to do a blog as well. I mean, what was I waiting for? So alas, I have arrived!

Just some cliff notes on who I am, what I do, and what I love. I was born and raised in sunny Miami and moved to New York when I was 20. And I fell in love. With the city and with my better half, Coco. I began a career in television, covering the entertaining world of celebrity and fashion and feel so blessed to get to work in something that I absolutely love to do. How many people get to say that? Then in between our many NYC adventures, dinner parties, and red carpet crusades, I became a mom to a very miniature fashionista named Maya Buccio and I fell in love all over again. Then as life would have it, it was time to say 'see you later' (because it's never goodbye to the city we call home) to the Big Apple and 'hello again' to the sunshine state- city of palm trees, breathtaking beaches, and cortaditos. And here I am! Ready to share my fashion closet and some other things I love- like food and books- with my new friends (that's right, I'm talking to you!)

Because 197 posts, might be a little time consuming to update on the blog, I've gone ahead and picked some of my favorite looks to dissect and share. This is going to be fun! Sleep? Who needs sleep! It's for the birds! Not this mom. I plan to churn out a good chunk of these with the help of two espressos and lots and lots of Downton Abbey to keep me awake and alert.

So grab on to your heels and let's get this fashion road trip kicking!
