Hello My Fun and Fearless Fashionistas! 

My name is Kat. I'm fresh from the Big Apple and bringing you style that's fresh, frugal, and fun! 

I was born and raised in sunny Miami and moved to New York City at the age of 20 with nothing but two suitcases and a dream. And so began my love affair with the spellbinding city that never sleeps. Soon there after, when least expected, I met my better half, and the rest is history. 

After graduating from Fordham University with a degree in broadcast journalism and several high profile internships under my belt, I started my career in television- covering the entertaining world of celebrity and fashion. I feel so blessed to wake up every morning and get to do something that I absolutely love to do. How many people get to say that? 

Then in between our many NYC adventures, dinner parties, and red carpet crusades, I became a mom to a very miniature fashionista named Maya and fell in love all over again. 

After 12 years strutting the streets of the Upper East Side, it was time to say 'see you later' (because it's never goodbye to the city we call home) to the Big Apple and 'hello again' to the sunshine state- city of palm trees, breathtaking beaches, and cortaditos. And so here I am! Ready to share my fashion closet and some other things I love- like food and books- with my new friends (that's right, I'm talking to you!)
