New York Style Map: Spotted in the West Village

"Welcome to New York, welcome to New York, it's been waiting for you..." Amen to that, Taylor Swift. Each time I come back home, it's like the city's been waiting for me all along. I'm very much looking forward to spending a few days back in my old stomping ground, doing what I do best. There's nothing like New York City- from the air, to the energy, to the mystifying pull that just sucks you in. And it's no wonder it's the greatest city in the world. Because when you're here, the sky's the limit.

My beloved better half - my Italian Stallion - took these snapshots on the first day we arrived in the city for our Christmas holiday. Straight to the village we went, to one of our favorite spots, Buvette, where ironically he also told me that a move to Miami was in our near future. I cried into my beef tartare. This time around though, a more positive conversation was had and no beef tartare was harmed in the process.

We arrived to some very mild weather in the city so my usual puffer coat didn't make the trip. Instead, this awesome leopard number by Guess kept me warm throughout my winter wonderland travels. I love combining leopard and stripes and adding something classic like an oxford top to turn up an outfit.

This yummy scarf from Nordstrom is the latest addition to my 'bundle up' collection. Usually I buy scarves off street vendors or I wear my LV leopard one on repeat. But leopard on leopard would have been too Mob Wives so I opted for this nude colored one, which by the way, takes cozy to another level. I just want to cuddle up with my scarf!

And because there's no better purse for the NYC lifestyle than a crossbody, this Kate Spade leather bag is a comfortable and chic addition and fits perfectly over any coat without feeling bulky.

And there you have it, squeezers! My street style look is good for all shapes and sizes. I'm excited to wear a variation of this on my next adventure- minus the leopard coat because arctic temperatures call for mink- lots and lots of mink!

Let's Celebrate Miami's Sweater Weather!

For the last few weeks, we've been enjoying some cool, crisp weather in usually sweltering Miami and no one is happier than this girl right here! I get to dust off some of my favorite sweaters and parade them around town with a big, fat smile on my face.

One of my favorite combinations is pairing culottes with sweaters. It's the perfect mix of street and chic. And for my latest blog post, I teamed up with Natalie of www.sunaphotography.com   to bring you some photo magic from the heart of Coconut Grove.

I love the gold studded details on this leopard print sweater- and while it's not your traditional animal print, it's still cool and modern with an eye-popping pairing of black and yellow. I love how it pairs with the leather culottes and the thick strapped heels, because even though it's sweater weather in Miami, you can still show a little ankle cleavage!

Here's a closer look at some of the outfit details, including my winged earrings which are a personal favorite because of their unique design!

If you're in Miami, there's probably only a few days left of this fake winter so make sure you take full advantage of this 60-70 degree weather and bust out that sweater that's been crying for some attention. It'll thank you later!
